Dashboard Filters are a key component in Align.ly Beacon.

You can add a Dashboard Filter based on any field on Campaign Member with the following field types:

• Checkbox
• Date
• Date/Time (displayed as Date)
• Picklist
• Text
• Formula (Currency, Number, Percent, and Time are not supported)

To add a Dashboard Filter, follow these steps:

1. In Salesforce, go to Align.ly Beacon by searching in the App Launcher ("waffle" or "9 dots" icon)
2. Click on the Dashboard Filters tab
3. Click Add New Filter
4. Select a field from the drop-down list
5. Click Save

Based on the field type selected, Align.ly Beacon will automatically determine how to display the Dashboard Filter. However, if you select a Formula field that is type of Text, you will need to manually enter the picklist options.

You can change the sort order of your filters by simply dragging and dropping the filter cards. Note that you will need to click Save in order for the new sort order to take effect.

Dashboard Filters are pretty straightforward and easy-to-use, but here are a few tips:

1. You can filter based on fields for objects related to the Campaign Member object by creating a Campaign Member formula field.
2. A text formula field is the only field type where you will need to manually maintain the picklist values in the Dashboard Filter. If possible, update a text field with a Flow versus using a formula field.
